Located at 4171 Hunt Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236, Velvet Oven operates as a bakery serving Cincinnati in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Cincinnati, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Ohio, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (513) 386-9841. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 163 reviews, which is a strong result for a bakery in Cincinnati and suggests consistent service.

Cincinnati is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cincinnati follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We decided to give this place a try after they had been open for a month. I know the first month or so can be challenging and all the beautiful pastries would make them busy. My husband and I both ordered one savory item, one sweet item and coffee. The savory item I ordered was the spinach croissant, it was flaky and delicious. My husband ordered a premade sandwich, he said it was just ok. If you want diabetes this is the place for you. The sweet "pastries" were more like candies with cream filling they were not baked goods. I got the Dubai chocolate teddy bear and tried to cut into it with a knife but couldn't, I almost broke my teeth biting into it. The "chocolate?" Outside looked dark so I thought it was dark chocolate but it was not. It was a very thick sicky sweet "chocolate". The filling was ok. I couldn't finish it because it was so sweet. My husband got the Peanut butter Peanut and he said there wasn't very much peanut butter flavor. Our coffees were a whole different ballgame. I asked if I could have a macchiato that wasn't on the menu. Traditional macchiato is a demitasse with espresso and just some cream foam on top. I wasn't expecting them to say yes but it wasn't too b

It was my first time bringing a friend here, and the staff were all warm and attentiveβ€”they even gave the child a complimentary chocolate lollipop. The fruit crΓͺpe was excellent; the fluffy crΓͺpe, drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce, balanced the tartness of the strawberries perfectly. However, I personally found the drinks a bit too sweet.

New bakery in Blue Ash featuring many tasty and savory treats. We enjoyed an Oreo croissant (amazing) Biscoff croissant and a pesto focaccia (a little disappointed). The Americano was surprisingly delicious as was the peach mixer! The service was outstanding! We were greeted at the door and informed of their specialties. Indoor and outdoor seating is available as is limited parking. As mentioned, they're new in the neighborhood and definitely worth a repeat visit.

Best cheesecake I’ve ever had. The latte was delicious too. I got a complimentary soufflΓ© and a mango viral fruit pastry. The soufflΓ© was rich but not overpowering, the gelato was also really good. I took the mango pastry home and will try later, can’t speak of the flavor yet but it looks beautiful. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in for a treat after seeing a video on TikTok. We purchased a viral raspberry, a slice of triple chocolate cake, a banana caramel latte and a strawberry matcha. We also ended up with a slice of cheesecake with warm pistachio topping. The staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming. The service was quick and there is quite the variety of treats that we still want to try. We will for sure be back!
